Terms and Conditions
Trading As
1. Spencer Court Youth Theatre and Blackpool Community Theatre is a trading name of Blackpool Community Theatre CIC.
Classes
2.Students must be collected on time (unless they are 12 or over and are permitted to be leave the community centre by themselves with the parent/carer’s written permission)
3. Parent/carer will be asked to give permission to use images of their child/children for Spencer Court Youth Theatre promotional purposes. These may be used in publications, for training and archive purposes, online and digital media. Images include footage.
4. Spencer Court Youth Theatre aims to provide constructive and entertaining theatre activities for all attendees.
5. To ensure that all students have the opportunity to fully engage, please follow the following guidelines:
Students should –
•Arrive on time.
•Dress appropriately (trousers/shorts) and wearing a Spencer Court Youth Theatre t-shirt once the three week trial has ended.
•Please take note that there will be no skirts.
•Sweets and chewing gum are not allowed at Spencer Court Youth Theatre.
•Ensure their mobile phones are turned off.
•Follow instructions from Spencer Court Youth Theatre staff and volunteers.
•Be polite and courteous to all.
•Always behave rationally and responsibly, keeping their own and others’ safety in mind.
6. Spencer Court Youth Theatre will not accept bullying or any other sort of abuse. We reserve the right to dismiss or ban students due to disruptive activity.
7. We shall not be in breach, nor liable for failure to perform, any of our obligations under this agreement if the class is prevented, interrupted or delayed by any cause outside our control including, but not limited to, the virus known as COVID-19
Membership & Other Payments
8. Classes are paid weekly during the three-week trial. After this time they are to be paid 4 sessions in advance.
9. Parents/carers are required to purchase a Spencer Court Youth Theatre t-shirt once the three-session is over and student must wear to all sessions after the three-week trial and the cost is £12.00.
10. Payments are to be made by ether BACS or cash.
11 A refundable deposit of £10.00 is payable upon sign-up to three-week trial.
12. Once a student has completed their three-week trial the deposit is refunded within 14 days unless the parent/carer opts out and requests for it to be used as credit (i.e. classes).
Contacting Parents or Legal Guardians and Data protection
13. Any personal information parent/carer supplies as part of student sign-up application and agreement will be retained and processed by us in line with data protection laws and our privacy policy for the purposes of administering, developing, and producing the classes rehearsals, or production.
14, You consent to us storing and processing your personal information for these reasons.~

15. Spencer Court Youth Theatre is registered with Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under the company name Blackpool Community Theatre CIC with registration number ZC066211
Medical conditions and additional support
16, Spencer Court Youth Theatre accepts Spencer Court Youth Theatre who have medical conditions, disabilities, or require special support. To ensure that students have a pleasant, safe, fun, and instructive experience, we must be completely informed of any medical conditions, disabilities, and/or special needs they may have.
17. It is crucial to emphasise that any information you supply will be kept strictly confidential. Applicants will not be evaluated for physical or learning abilities.
18. Please supply full and accurate information. This information will only be used to benefit the students and ensure a great and pleasurable experience as a student of Spencer Court Youth Theatre .
The Use of Photographs and Footage
19. During sign-up parent/carer will be asked to give permission to use images of the student for Spencer Court Youth Theatre promotional purposes. These may be used in publications, for training and archive purposes, online and digital media. Images include footage
20. Spencer Court Youth Theatre understands the importance of ensuring the well-being and safety of all students in its programs. As part of our commitment to student safety, we will not allow photographs, video, or other images of students to be taken or utilised without the permission of the parents/carers.
21. Spencer Court Youth Theatre will adhere to national guidelines for the use of images of children as well as take all necessary precautions to ensure that these images are used solely for the purpose for which they are intended, namely the promotion and celebration of the students’ activities at Spencer Court Youth Theatre . If you notice these photographs being used inappropriately, please notify Spencer Court Youth Theatre .
22. Please keep in mind that student and audience members will not be permitted to photograph or videotape performances.
23. If the parent/carer twishes to have the data deleted from the website or a publication, they must provide written notice to BSpencer Court Youth Theatre, and the data will be removed within the proper time frames.
