Blackpool Youth Theatre
Spencer Court Youth Theatre is a trading name of Blackpool Community Theatre CIC and operates as a not profit community interest company (CIC). Although our registered and correspondence address is located in Manchester, our true base is in Blackpool, where we gather as a community So, if your child are interested in being part of something special and have a passion for performing, particularly in acting, then join our community theatre; you will not be let down
Theatre Acting Classes
Children’s theatre acting classes for ages 8-12 begin on 5th September and end on 21 November 2026. They shall be taking place at Spencer Court Community Centre on Spencer Court in Blackpool between the hours of 3:30pm and 5:00pm on Saturdays.. There is a three-week trial and first session is FREE will then cost £3.50 each.
Productions
In early or mid 2027 our youth theatre group shall be performing in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. The venue, dates and time are to be announced. The script has been written by teacher and Principal David Baker.
Bullying Support
We offer more than the performing arts. We also offer bullying support resources including helplines and YouTube Childline videos. So, if you or someone else needs support we can help you find the support needed.
Fundraising
We firmly believe that our mission extends far beyond the confines of theatre.. While it is undeniably vital to generate funds that sustain our own artistic initiatives, our commitment to the community reaches outwards, fostering support for various charities and CICs.
YOUR VISIT
Our Blackpool youth theatre will be meeting at Spencer Court Community Centre on Spencer Court near Sainsbury’s in the town centre. There is FREE parking.
POST 16 GROUP
Returning soon is our theatre group for ages 16 and over. Events will include pantomime and improvisation classes. More details coming soon!
